Calories don't count in Summer!
We think Summer is the coolest season! Yes, we meant that…do not get all bewildered and let us explain here. Imagine this, it's a hot hot hot summer morning, the only thing that saves you from all the heat is a cold, a very very cold bowl, we repeat BOWL of ice-cream or slushy or anything with "sugar and spice & all things nice!" & the constant sweating despite the non-stop comfort food consumption will work just as fine as your Summer-mania gym membership. But who are we kidding? That's definitely NOT how it works, right? & quoting the fittest individual we can recall, "once on the lips, forever on your hips" (read: in an annoyed tone) #JoeyDoesNotShareFood
So, summers are the coolest season ever, said no one ever!
But wait, why are you even worried about all this, we've got you sorted. Take a look at our little checklist here-
Without further ado, let's beat the heat together!
PAN India Special
Evaporated, raw, low-fat cream formula. Ahem, chaach, buttermilk.
This all-rounder of a drink is the most go-to option in Indian households. Sip on this with some chaat masala or cumin masala and you're sorted with your fluid intake for the decade. J.K.! Buttermilk (Chhash) is the simplest of all the drinks and hence it tops our charts as well.
Moipot recommends: Substitution of regular salt with black or pink salt.

Thandi Thandi Thandaai!
For all the milk-based drinks lover, this is the best thandaa to have in this monstrous garam Mausam! *Pretending to wipe off all the sweat, sitting right under the A/C at -229 C*. This drink sees its root from traditional festivals such as Holi, Mahashivaratri and is considered to be the best substitute for your calcium dosage during the soaring temperatures. Top off the drink with your favorite dry-fruits and one glass of this works just as good as the bottled milk beverages.
Moipot recommends: Replace the sugar with brown sugar or even with jaggery, the cooling properties in this substitute works faster on the body and not just that, it's lesser in the cal intake too!

A drink has no name
What's up you GOT fans? Or even if not one…the title for this drink stands true because hey! Shikanji, limeade, lemonade, nimbu paani, limbu paani, jal jeera!? What is even going on?
A drink with such diverse names should definitely be really, realllly difficult to prepare. Is that so?
Say "Yellow racket, red yacht" 10 times….and that's legit the only amount of time you'll take to prepare this nameless drink

Grandmama's café
Yes. Your grandma stopping you from consuming those aerated drinks no matter how awesome they make you feel in this scorching heat is absolutely on point. Imagine a heap of sugar…now imagine a drop of water…and now another drop of colored essence. That's exactly what you would intake with your favorite fizz.
Your task for the day is to call your mum or dad, grandmother/father or an elderly family member whom you detested when they stopped you from gulping down the carbonic flavored citric and phosphoric acid. Ahem…Soda, and ask them their favorite summertime drink and how to make them or even simple, search for the recipe online. These may be as simple as coconut water or gud ka paani or even saunf sherbet… stick to the roots and you'll get stronger!
